Cosmos

It was earlier in the semester that we talked about religions purpose in establishing and maintaining cosmos amidst chaos. This can be elaborated to, without religion, or some kind of structure we are all part of chaos participating in the random spiral that has no end. It is only when one fathoms the end do they believe that everything leading up was meant to be. Religion is important because it provides a culture with an end, thus establishing cosmos. And the fact that religions are groups with many participants only strengthens cosmos. So very many, it seems to me, participate in a religion because others do as well, following the person in front of them in a metaphorical labyrinth where none can see the center. I believe that it is only once one determines that chaos to be cosmos in its most pure form are they free to discover thir own cosmos.
