Since we have been looking at sacred images in class I’ve done some of my own research on it. Look around ancient images runes captured my attention. They are sacred images given to Odin. They were used as a written language and for rituals. They can be used to perform magic or to foretell the future. That’s another use of images we kind of talked about in class where images of Jesus were used to heal people, but runes came way before Jesus and I thought it was pretty cool how they were used.
