So I was thinking about Martin Buber and his I or it relationships. So I think I have it right that when you treat someone like an “it”, it is a bad thing, because you are treating them as an object that to use for some end. That you should only have I relationships with people because you treat them as a person and not an object? I hope that’s right because I kind of get lost in all the “I”s and “it”s. So even more basically treat people like you want to be treated, the golden rule. That’s what I got out of it.
